After examining the security camera footage, the police identified the suspect as Okan Y. It was determined that Okan Y., who was wanted for 5 other theft offenses, entered an apartment in Pınar Mahallesi on November 30 with a metal cutting tool in a bag and cut the lock that A.A. had attached to the railing of the 6th-floor stairs to steal the bicycle.

As those moments were captured on security camera, Okan Y. was caught during a raid at his home in Fatih Mahallesi.
