A brutal incident occurred on October 25 at around 18:30 in front of a site located on Ebusuud Efendi Street in the Havzan neighborhood of the Meram district of Konya. Abdullah Küçüktaşdemir (47) followed his teacher wife Ebru Küçüktaşdemir (45), who was in the process of divorce, to the site where she went for a private lesson. STABBED HIS WIFE IN 22 PLACES DURING DIVORCE PROCESSDuring a dispute between the couple, Abdullah Küçüktaşdemir stabbed Ebru Küçüktaşdemir 22 times with a knife he was carrying. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The woman, who was seriously injured by the knife wounds, was taken to Meram State Hospital after the first intervention by the medical teams. Despite all the efforts of the doctors, Ebru Küçüktaşdemir lost her life here. A LAWSUIT WAS FILED WITH A REQUEST FOR AGGRAVATED LIFE IMPRISONMENTAbdullah Küçüktaşdemir, who was detained by the police, was arrested and sent to prison by the judicial authorities after his statement. While the Konya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office completed its investigation regarding the incident, a lawsuit was filed against the detained suspect for "premeditated murder against a woman" with a request for aggravated life imprisonment. HE WAS TEACHING WITHOUT GRADUATING FROM THE FACULTY OF EDUCATIONThe indictment stated that despite the suspect husband dropping out of the faculty of education, he had been working as a Turkish teacher at a private tutoring center for years. SEARCHED FOR "HUNTING KNIFE" ON THE INTERNET ON THE DAY OF THE MURDERAfter examining the suspect's phone, it was revealed that on the day of the incident, he sent threatening messages to Ebru Küçüktaşdemir, saying, "Is there any place other than prison? This will end today. Everything is over for me. If you have any sense, leave Konya." It was also noted in the indictment that he made searches like "hunting knife Konya" about 6 hours before the incident.
