The statement of the suspect who carried out an armed attack on a business selling medical products in Adana, resulting in the deaths of three people, has emerged. The suspect said, "I learned that my girlfriend, whom I picked up after work, was being harassed. I took my weapons and carried out the act. I did it in a moment of madness. I am very sorry."
A shooting attack was carried out at a business selling medical products on Hacı Ömer Sabancı Street in the Yenibaraj neighborhood of the Seyhan district in Adana. Talat Ateş (20), who arrived at the workplace where his girlfriend A.A. was interning with a double-barreled gun, opened fire consecutively on the business owner Fuat Kalaycık (64) and his sons-in-law Özgür Ozan Ekinci (43) and Oğuzhan Söylemezler (29). While Kalaycık, Ekinci, and Söylemezler lost their lives, the suspect fled the scene. Talat Ateş was caught on Hekimköy Boulevard in the Sarıçam district. Two guns used in the incident were also seized.

After work, I learned from my girlfriend that she was being harassed. I went home and got my guns. Then I came to the workplace where my girlfriend was interning and carried out the act. I did it in a moment of madness, I am very sorry," he said.
GIRLFRIEND CONFIRMED THE HARASSMENT A.A., who the police consulted for information, also claimed that Fuat Kalaycık had sexually harassed her. A.A. stated that her boyfriend Talat Ateş became angry and carried out the incident after she explained the situation to him.
