The tenants that landlords fear the most have been identified. Landlords are hesitant to rent their homes to certain types of tenants. In Turkey, where a housing crisis has been ongoing for a long time, the tenants that landlords dislike the most are lawyers.

High inflation and economic fluctuations have caused rental prices to rise rapidly across Turkey. With the removal of the 25% rent increase in July, rental prices have skyrocketed. This situation has also led to an increase in tensions and disputes between landlords and tenants. Particularly, landlords who avoid renting to certain professional groups have added a new dimension to these disputes.

NO HOMES FOR LAWYERS

Real estate experts indicate that landlords have been hesitant to rent to lawyers recently. According to experts, the main reason for this hesitation is that lawyers are well aware of their legal rights and the steps to be taken.

STUDENTS ARE LANDLORDS' FAVORITES

Bora Tren, Chairman of the Consumer Confederation's Real Estate Commission, revealed the tenant group that landlords demand the most. Tren stated, "The group that landlords most want to rent to is students. Tenants who will stay for 2-3 years and then vacate the property are seen as a more profitable group. Since students usually stay together, property owners have the opportunity to demand higher rental prices."
