The Turkish Football Federation Arbitration Board has made a decision regarding the appeal made by Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek against the 30-day ban and 360,000 TL fine previously imposed by the Professional Football Discipline Board. ARBITRATION BOARD CONFIRMED THE PENALTYThe Arbitration Board did not change its decision after the appeal made by Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek and confirmed the 30-day ban and 360,000 TL fine. In a statement made by the Arbitration Board, the following expressions were included; "The appeal of Dursun Aydın Özbek, President of Galatasaray A.Ş., against the decision dated 12.12.2024 and numbered E.2024-2025/509 – K.2024-2025/632 of the PFDK was examined. As a result of the discussions; - It was understood that there was no error in terms of evidence, legal qualification, and determination of the penalty in the decision to impose a fine of 150,000.00 TL due to the Unsportsmanlike Statements made by Dursun Aydın Özbek in his statements to the media on 03.12.2024, in accordance with Article 38/1-a of the FDT, therefore, the application was rejected and the decision was confirmed unanimously, - It was understood that there was no error in terms of evidence, legal qualification, and determination of the penalty in the decision to impose a 30-day ban and a fine of 210,000.00 TL due to the statements made on the club's official social media account (X) on 06.12.2024 being an attack on personal rights, in accordance with Article 41/1-b of the FDT, therefore, the application was rejected and the decision was confirmed by a majority vote."
