TFF COMPLAINED TO UEFA
The TFF has complained to UEFA about Gavriel Kanichowsky due to his goal celebration in the Beşiktaş-Maccabi Tel Aviv match. It was requested that an investigation be initiated against the player and the club by the UEFA Control, Ethics, and Disciplinary Board, on the grounds that this action was political, thoughtless, and clearly intended to send a message. CHP HAD ALSO APPLIED TO UEFA
On the other hand, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır applied to UEFA yesterday, requesting the punishment of the Israeli footballer who saluted the army during the Beşiktaş-Maccabi Tel Aviv match.

Ali Mahir Başarır stated in a press conference at the Turkish Grand National Assembly, "An Israeli footballer made a very ugly gesture after scoring a goal in the Beşiktaş-Maccabi Tel Aviv match. He went in front of the cameras and saluted the army. As you know, Israel is committing crimes against humanity in Palestine; thousands of children, women, and citizens are being killed. Neither the Football Federation nor the Ministry of Sports has made an application to UEFA regarding this morally bankrupt footballer, and UEFA has not opened an investigation on its own. They opened one for our footballer and imposed a penalty, which is much more severe. Article 14 of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations states the offense of racism. We wrote a letter to UEFA. We are sending our complaints on behalf of the Republican People's Party group and 86 million people; let's see what decision UEFA will make," he expressed.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Kanichowsky, who scored the first goal of Maccabi Tel Aviv in the 23rd minute of the match, saluted the army while showing the Israeli flag after the goal.
