The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announced new companies and products involved in food fraud. The list, which includes well-known brands, revealed that frauds such as using head meat in sausage, offal in pastries, and food coloring in spices were detected.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues its inspections against companies that commit fraud in food. Companies and products found to be non-compliant in the inspection results are also disclosed one by one.

FRAUD IN SPICES, BUTTER, KEBAB, AND PASTRY

The list published on the website "guvenilirgida.tarimorman.gov.tr" has been updated. The list dated December 2, which includes famous brands, featured products such as spices, chocolate, olive oil, butter, sausage, Urfa kebab, and pastry.

HEAD MEAT IN SAUSAGE, OFFAL IN PASTRY, FOOD DYE IN SPICES

Findings included seed oil in olive oil, head meat in sausage, offal (gizzard) in minced pastry, poultry meat in Urfa kebab, food dye in spices, and active pharmaceutical ingredients in chocolate.

FAMOUS BRANDS ARE ALSO ON THE LIST

Famous brands were also included in the list. The pastry shop named "Sarıyer Börekçisi" located in Sultangazi was found to have offal (gizzard) in its minced pastry filling.

In the sumac belonging to the "Arifoğlu" brand, "dye not permitted for use in food" was detected.
