A pickup truck that crossed the barriers overturned on the lower road during the night in Artvin. In the accident, which was noticed by passersby in the morning, 3 people in the vehicle lost their lives. It was learned that the driver did not have a license, and an investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
A terrible accident occurred late at night in the Hekimoğlu neighborhood of the Ortaköy village in Artvin. The pickup truck driven by Hasan G. (41) overturned onto the lower road after crashing into the iron barriers.
PASSERSBY NOTICED IN THE MORNING
After the accident was noticed by passersby in the morning, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the area upon notification.
3 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
Teams determined that the driver and his brother Yunus G. (51) along with their relative Hasan İ. (57) had lost their lives. The bodies, which were removed from the vehicle they were trapped in, were taken to the Artvin State Hospital morgue.
DRIVER WAS UNLICENSED
Meanwhile, it was learned that the driver did not have a license. Additionally, teams have launched an investigation into the accident.
