The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) made changes to the disciplinary regulations before the new season. In the meeting of the Board of Directors on May 28, 2025, amendments were made to the Football Disciplinary Regulations, and updated penalties were announced. Players will serve the penalties for the red cards they receive in the following official match or matches. Previously, penalties of up to 4 matches were applicable in the category where the violation occurred.

CHANGE IN RED CARD PENALTY
Following the amendments, the Federation announced the updated penalties of the Football Disciplinary Regulation. According to the changes published on TFF's website, there has been a modification in the enforcement of red cards.
Players will serve the penalty for the red cards they receive in the next official match or matches. Previously, penalties of up to 4 matches were valid in the category where the violation occurred. The other change was made regarding player contracts.
TO BE REPORTED TO TFF
Accordingly, clubs will report all earnings and expenses such as signing bonuses, image rights, and provided housing in the contracts signed with players to the TFF. In the event that earnings and expenses not submitted to the TFF are detected, a penalty equal to half of the undisclosed amount will be imposed.
