U.S. President Joe Biden granted limited permission for Ukraine to use long-range American weapons on Russian territory before handing over the presidency to Donald Trump. There is curiosity about what the new President Donald Trump, who stated that he would take steps to end the Russia-Ukraine war as soon as he took office, will say.

The U.S. administration has granted Ukraine permission to use long-range American weapons on Russian territory in a limited manner. This decision was made after North Korean soldiers were brought to Russia and is considered an important step by the Biden administration.

UKRAINE WILL BE ABLE TO USE LONG-RANGE AMERICAN WEAPONS

It has been reported that the U.S. administration has granted Ukraine the opportunity to use long-range American weapons on Russian territory in a limited manner. According to a report by the American Washington Post (WP), based on two senior U.S. officials, the Joe Biden administration has taken a new step regarding Ukraine. Accordingly, the U.S. administration decided to allow Kiev to use long-range American weapons on Russian territory after North Korean soldiers were brought to Russia to fight against Ukraine.

RUSSIA'S NORTH KOREA DECISION LED TO A CHANGE IN POLICY

In this context, the U.S. has approved the limited use of long-range tactical missile systems (ATACMS) supplied to Ukraine against Russian forces on Russian territory. Officials speaking to WP emphasized that the arrival of approximately 10,000 North Korean soldiers to the Kursk region by Russia to fight against Ukraine was influential in this policy change.

TRUMP: I DO NOT WANT THE WAR TO LAST LONGER

This step, which Ukraine has long requested but which the U.S. administration has not greenlit until now, is seen as an important decision by the Biden administration before the election-winning Donald Trump comes to the White House. The elected president of the U.S., Trump, stated that he would take steps to end the Russia-Ukraine war as soon as he took office and expressed that he did not want this war to last any longer.
