With the announcement published by the Revenue Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the revaluation rate for the year 2024 has been determined to be 43.93%. Following the declaration of this rate in accordance with the Tax Procedure Law, an increase in tax, fee, and penalty amounts is anticipated. Accordingly, vehicle inspection fees will also rise to 2,621 TL.

The revaluation rate for the year 2024 has been determined as 43.93% by the communiqué published by the Revenue Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. With the announcement of this rate under the Tax Procedure Law, an increase in tax, fee, and penalty amounts is anticipated. The revaluation rate was previously announced as 58.46% for the year 2024.

In various laws related to taxes and fees, it is foreseen that the amounts of taxes, fees, and penalties will increase each year by the revaluation rate. According to the laws, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has the authority to increase or decrease the revaluation rate by 50%. If the President does not exercise this authority and the amounts are determined according to the announced rate, it will rise to 2,621 TL in 2025.

HOW MUCH WERE VEHICLE INSPECTION FEES IN 2024?

The vehicle inspection fee for tractors, motorcycles, and motorized bicycles was 927.60 TL; for cars, minibuses, vans, trailers, semi-trailers, and off-road vehicles, it was 1,821.60 TL; and for trucks, lorries, tractors, and buses, it was 2,432.40 TL.

VEHICLE INSPECTION FEES FOR 2025

The inspection fees for tractors, motorcycles, and motorized bicycles will increase from 927.60 TL to 1,335 TL.

The fee for cars, minibuses, vans, off-road vehicles, special purpose vehicles, and trailers will rise from 1,821.60 TL to 2,621 TL.

The inspection fee for buses, trucks, and tractors will increase from 2,462.40 TL to 3,544 TL.
