The investigation into the rape allegations against 25-year-old star Kylian Mbappe of the Spanish giant Real Madrid has been concluded in Sweden.

Swedish prosecutor Marina Chirakova stated that she decided to close the investigation into the rape and sexual assault allegations against Mbappe due to insufficient evidence. Prosecutor Chirakova said, "I have concluded that the evidence is not sufficient to continue the investigation, and therefore the investigation has been terminated."

WHAT HAPPENED?

Mbappe was implicated in a rape incident that occurred at a hotel in the capital Stockholm when he traveled to Sweden with the French National Team for a match against Israel.

In a statement from the Swedish prosecution, it was noted that an investigation was launched regarding the alleged rape incident that took place at a hotel in Stockholm on October 10, but no details were provided about the identity of the suspect. Mbappé's lawyer, Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard, stated that they would cooperate with the Swedish justice system if her client was directly involved in an investigation and emphasized that Mbappé had committed no crime.
