The vice principal of the school was shot in the head and killed by a 17-year-old teenager.

The deputy principal of Çayırova district in Kocaeli was shot in the head by a person who claimed to be 17 years old in traffic. Deputy principal Mahir Çoğaç lost his life.

SHOT IN THE HEAD WHILE DRIVING

The incident occurred this morning near Çayırova Cultural Center, next to the PTT branch. Mahir Çoğaç, the deputy principal of Çayırova Fevzi Çakmak Anatolian High School, was shot in the head by a person who claimed to be 17 years old while driving in traffic.

TEAMS DISPATCHED TO THE SCENE

Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that Çoğaç lost his life after the examinations.

SUSPECT WAITED NEAR HIS HOUSE BEFORE THE MURDER

Meanwhile, moments when the suspect waited near Mahir Çoğaç's house one hour before the incident were captured by a security camera of a business. Police have started working to apprehend the fleeing suspect.
