The weapons used in the TUSAŞ attack point to a single organization.

Two terrorists, one of whom was a woman, arrived at the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) facilities in Kahramankazan yesterday around 15:25 with a vehicle bearing the license plate 06 JMT 07. After waiting in the vehicle for a while, they launched an attack. The terrorists, armed with heavy weapons, got out of the vehicle and opened fire on those exiting the TUSAŞ main gate.

ONE OF THE TERRORISTS BLEW HERSELF UP

There was a clash between the terrorists, who also opened fire on security points, and security personnel. The female terrorist, who entered the facility after passing through the gate, threw a grenade and blew herself up. The other terrorist entered the compound with heavy weapons and grenades. Immediately after the attack, the personnel in the facilities were taken to a shelter. Gendarmerie and Police Special Operations teams were dispatched to the area. The second terrorist, who entered the compound and attacked civilians, was killed after a brief clash. It was noted that the terrorists had conducted reconnaissance in the area before the attack and had planned the assault on TUSAŞ.

MINISTER YERLİKAYA INDICATED PKK

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated during his visit to the injured at night that "We have 5 martyrs, and 19 injured, 2 of whom are in serious condition. 2 terrorists were also neutralized. Our identity verification efforts are ongoing. Based on the method of the attack and the examination of the footage, our initial assessment is that the terrorists are affiliated with the PKK."

The 5th Generation National Combat Aircraft KAAN, Jet Training Aircraft HÜRJET, Attack Helicopter T129 ATAK, General Purpose Helicopter GÖKBEY, and unmanned aerial vehicles ANKA and AKSUNGUR are being developed within TUSAŞ. It has over 6,500 engineers and approximately 16,000 employees in an area of 4 million square meters, including 710,000 square meters of closed space. TUSAŞ, which is a technology center in Turkey, is among the global players in the aviation, space, and defense industries. Additionally, it ranks 50th among the strongest defense industry companies in the 'Defense News Top 100.'

"7 OF THE INJURED ARE SPECIAL OPERATIONS"

Interior Minister Yerlikaya stated, "7 of our friends among the injured are from special operations. We believe they will reunite with their families. It is highly likely that those who carried out this attack are members of the PKK terrorist organization."

"ONE IN SERIOUS CONDITION"

Health Minister Memişoğlu stated, "We have discharged 3 of our injured. One of them is in serious condition, and the treatments of the others are ongoing."

STATEMENT FROM NUMAN KURTULMUŞ

Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, visited those injured in the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ at Etlik City Hospital. Speaking to the press outside the hospital, Kurtulmuş emphasized, "We need to underline that this is not an ordinary terrorist attack. As a nation, we must follow the upcoming process with extraordinary attention and continue on our path by solving the codes of this attack in national unity and solidarity."

IDENTITIES OF THE MARTYRS REVEALED

The identities of those martyred in the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ have been announced. In a statement from the Ministry of Interior, it was reported that machine engineer Zahide Güçlü, quality control officer Cengiz Coşkun, employee Hasan Hüseyin Cambaz, security officer Atakan Şahin Erdoğan, and taxi driver Murat Arslan were martyred in the attack.

SHE WAS MARTYRED WHILE GOING TO RECEIVE THE FLOWER SENT BY HER HUSBAND

It was learned that martyred engineer Zahide Güçlü (37) had her birthday today and that her husband had sent her flowers. It was reported that Güçlü was caught in the middle of the terrorist attack while going to the gate to receive the flower. Despite the intervention at the hospital, Güçlü could not be saved.
