In the Safranbolu district of Karabük, a light commercial vehicle lost control and crashed into a tree, igniting in flames. The young driver, Ferhat Yıldırım, lost his life in the vehicle engulfed by the fire.
In the Safranbolu district of Karabük, 28-year-old driver Ferhat Yıldırım lost his life at the scene after the light commercial vehicle he was driving went out of control and crashed into a tree. The vehicle, which caught fire after the collision, was extinguished by fire brigade teams, and an investigation has been launched regarding the accident.
OUT OF CONTROL, THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO A TREE
The accident occurred in the Tayyip village area of the Karabük–Bartın highway. The light commercial vehicle with license plate 18 ABH 243, driven by Ferhat Yıldırım, crashed into a tree on the roadside after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. The force of the impact caused the vehicle to be completely engulfed in flames in a short time.
THE VEHICLE BURST INTO FLAMES
Upon notification from nearby citizens who witnessed the accident, health, fire, police, gendarmerie, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the area. Fire brigade teams, who quickly reached the scene, brought the completely burned vehicle under control and extinguished the fire.
THE YOUNG DRIVER LOST HIS LIFE AT THE SCENE
Health teams determined during their checks that 28-year-old Ferhat Yıldırım had died at the moment of impact. Yıldırım's lifeless body was taken to the hospital morgue after an examination by the prosecutor's office.
An investigation has been initiated by the police and gendarmerie teams regarding the cause of the accident.
