Within the framework of the Law on the Execution of Sentences and Security Measures, known to the public as the '10th Judicial Package', releases began at the Adana E-Type Closed Penitentiary Institution. Relatives of the inmates who came to the prison to meet their loved ones waited for their release. After the necessary procedures were completed, the released inmates embraced their relatives and caught up on lost time. "I WANT MY FATHER TO BE RELEASED TOO"
Kaan Türkyılmaz (23), who was released from prison, expressed his happiness, saying, "We sought refuge in the justice of Almighty God, and our state held our hand. May God help the other inmates as well. I thank our President and we ask for another amnesty. My father is in prison, he received a 15-year sentence. I want him to be released too," he said.
"I WAS RELEASED WITH 49 MONTHS LEFT"
Ayhan Özen (56), who was released after staying in prison for 19 months, said, "I had 49 months left, and I was released. I am very happy. May God allow everyone to experience this happiness. I thank our President. It was a great joy for us before the holiday. I will go to my children, and we will celebrate the holiday together," he said.
Özkan Özhan, who was waiting for his friend to be released, said, "We are experiencing two holidays at once. May God not let anyone fall into this situation. When I see my friend, I will run and hug him, and I will kiss him. I will take him and have him perform 2 rakats of Tawakkul prayer. We are very happy," he expressed.
On the other hand, the releases are expected to be completed today.
