The incident took place on Orhangazi Street in the Gemlik district. According to the information obtained, a young man named T.P. first stabbed his brother in the back during an argument at home. Then he locked himself in the house and committed harakiri on the balcony, and was seriously injured.

Upon the notification of the people in the vicinity, a large number of police, health, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. The police teams, who entered the house with the support of the fire brigade, took control of the injured young man and handed him over to the health teams. The injured young man was taken to Gemlik State Hospital after the initial intervention by the health teams at the scene.
