The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues to announce food producers that pose a threat to human health. This time, the ministry warned about the products of three companies based in Gaziantep, Kocaeli, and Istanbul.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announces the irregularities revealed as a result of food inspections on the 'New Food Public Announcement System' available on the ministry's website. According to Article 8 of the Regulation on Official Control of Food and Feed dated December 17, 2011, the names of companies that produce or sell food that has been spoiled or altered in a way that endangers people's lives and health, as well as the product name, brand, batch, and serial number, are shared here.

EYMEN HECO

In the 'Foods That Will Endanger Health' section of the site; it was stated that in the 'Hairat Halep Olive Oil' product of the company 'Eymen Heco', located in the Şehitkamil district of Gaziantep, a dye not permitted for use in food was detected.

PERİL GIDA

It was also reported that in the product of 'Peril Gıda Non-Alcoholic Functional Beverages' company located in the Derince district of Kocaeli, and in the packaged tea produced by the 'Nur Baharat' company located in the Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul, an active pharmaceutical ingredient was detected.
