While the whole world discusses how and when Israel will retaliate against Iran's attack, Israeli media has brought new claims regarding a possible attack. It was reported that the U.S. allegedly asked Israel to soften its potential attack on Iran, and that Israel's attack plan is ready and will be carried out within a few days. In a report by Israel's Channel 13 television, some claims regarding Israel's possible attack on Iran were mentioned. The report, based on an unnamed source, suggested that the U.S. wanted Israel to soften its potential attack on Iran. It was also reported that Washington requested Tel Aviv to "accelerate" the completion of ground operations in Lebanon. CLAIM THAT ISRAEL'S ATTACK PLAN ON IRAN IS READYOn the other hand, Israel's Channel 12 television claimed that Tel Aviv's plan for a possible attack on Iran is ready and will be carried out "in a few days." The report, based on unnamed Israeli officials, noted that it is expected that Iran will "immediately respond" after a possible attack. No official statement has been made by Israeli authorities regarding either report. IRAN'S MISSILE ATTACK ON ISRAELThe Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps announced on October 1 that a missile attack was carried out against "Israel, which targets Iran's national security." It was stated that the attack was in response to Israeli strikes that killed Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, and Iranian Brigadier General Abbas Nilfuruşan. Iranian state television later announced that approximately 200 missiles were fired at Israel, and that hypersonic Fettah-1 missiles were used for the first time. After the missiles were launched, sirens sounded across the country, especially in Tel Aviv. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in a video message that Iran made "a big mistake" with the missile attack and will "pay the price." According to a report by the Israeli-based Yedioth Ahronot newspaper, based on data from the Israeli Tax Authority, the Iranian attack caused damage estimated between 150 to 200 million shekels in Israel. This attack by Iran was the second attack following the missile and drone strikes it carried out against Israel in April.
