Jose Mourinho's room at AS Roma is being prepared for the new head coach. It is claimed that after Claudio Ranieri, the new head coach of the Serie A giant will be Okan Buruk, the coach of Galatasaray.

AS Roma's sporting director Florian Ghisolfi spoke to Sky Sport ahead of the UEFA Europa League match against Braga. He did not mention Okan Buruk's name. However, he claimed that they exchanged views regarding the selection of the new head coach along with Ranieri.

The French-Italian sporting director said the following about the transfer market and the selection of the new head coach.

We are working on two things with head coach Ranieri; First, the January transfer market to improve the team. Second, regarding the next head coach.

I believe that the January transfer period is connected to the selection of the next head coach. The sooner we get the new head coach, the better. Identity is important. It is not about whether they are Italian or foreign, but identity is what matters.
