Following a tiger attack in England in which a visitor lost their life, it was announced that the Siberian tiger named Altai will not be euthanized. The management of Yorkshire Wildlife Park announced that the tiger involved in the attack is safe and healthy, stating that the animal will not be culled.

An incident at a wildlife park in England ended in tragedy. A man who wanted to take a photo with the tiger in the background crossed the safety barrier and entered the area where the animal was kept. The man was attacked by the Siberian tiger and died, while the incident caused panic among park visitors.

HE FIRST DANCED, THEN ENTERED THE TIGER'S ENCLOSURE

According to witnesses, shortly before the incident, the man, who was dancing and listening to music with headphones in the visitor area, took a photo while watching the tiger. He then crossed the safety barrier and entered the section where the animal was kept.

The man attacked by the tiger was seriously injured. As visitors who saw the incident tried to intervene and distract the animal, park staff also initiated emergency procedures.

MEDICAL TEAMS WERE MOBILIZED

After the incident on October 10, police, ambulance, and air ambulance teams were dispatched to the area. Despite the intervention of medical teams, the man died at the scene.

Due to the incident, Yorkshire Wildlife Park was evacuated and the park was temporarily closed to visitors. Police launched an investigation to determine how the incident occurred.

THE TIGER WILL NOT BE EUTHANIZED

After the incident, attention turned to the Siberian tiger named Altai, which carried out the attack. Park management stated that the animal was not injured during the attack and would not be euthanized.
