Following the incident that occurred in the evening hours in Onur Mahallesi, numerous teams were dispatched to the area, and police launched a large-scale operation to apprehend the unidentified fleeing attackers.

SHOWERED WITH BULLETS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET The incident occurred in the evening hours in the Onur neighborhood of the central Seyhan district. According to information obtained, Cumali Kocabey, who was walking on the street, was subjected to an armed attack by individuals whose identities and locations have not yet been determined. Kocabey, hit by bullets from a handgun, collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood, while one of the ricocheting bullets struck another citizen present on the street at the time.
COULD NOT BE SAVED DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS Upon the sound of gunfire, residents of the neighborhood panicked and alerted authorities, leading to the dispatch of numerous police and medical teams to the scene. After initial medical intervention at the scene, the injured were taken to the emergency room by ambulances. Among the injured treated at the hospital, Cumali Kocabey could not be saved despite all efforts by doctors and died. It was learned that the other injured person continues treatment at the hospital and is not in life-threatening condition.
Cumali Kocabey POLICE ARE PURSUING THE SUSPECTS Following the murder, crime scene investigation teams conducted a detailed examination of the street and collected numerous spent cartridges. Teams from the Homicide Bureau of the Provincial Security Directorate's Public Order Branch have begun reviewing nearby security cameras and launched a large-scale operation to identify and capture the fleeing armed assailants.
