They ran after the bus with a gun! Armed attack attempt on Kocaelispor.

Kocaelispor, on September 21, Saturday, while traveling to the city for the match against Çorum Football Club in the 6th week of Trendyol 1st League, the bus carrying the players, technical staff, and club employees was verbally and physically attacked by a group at the Bolu border. While kicks and punches were thrown at the bus, it was observed that one person ran from the back of the vehicle and pulled out a gun.

THE CLUB FILED A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT

In a statement made by Kocaelispor Club, it was stated, "On September 22, during the match we played against Çorum Football Club, our bus carrying the players, technical staff, and club workers, which was traveling by road, was subjected to verbal and physical attacks carried out by a few individuals at the Bolu provincial borders on September 21. A criminal complaint has been filed with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for the capture and punishment of those who carried out the relevant attack. All legal processes will be meticulously followed by our club to ensure that those who carried out the relevant attack receive the heaviest penalties stipulated in the relevant articles of the Turkish Penal Code."
