In Diyarbakır, a student who allegedly arrived 10 seconds late for the Religious Services Field Knowledge Test (DHBT) organized by ÖSYM experienced great distress when he was not allowed into the exam building. Despite pleading with the officials and the insistence of those around, the door was not opened. As the student, realizing he would not be able to take the exam, fell ill and collapsed to the ground, the incident was captured on a mobile phone camera.

The 2026-KPSS Religious Services Field Knowledge Test (DHBT), organized by ÖSYM, started at 10:15 in Diyarbakır as well as across Turkey.

Per exam rules, candidates were not allowed to enter exam buildings after 10:00.

A student who came to Dicle University Faculty of Engineering to take the exam allegedly missed the entry time by only 10 seconds.

Upon arriving at the building and learning that the doors had closed, the student tried to speak with the officials to get inside.

PLEADED WITH THE OFFICIAL, BUT THE DOOR WAS NOT OPENED

The student, wanting to be admitted to the exam, explained his situation to the official and asked to be allowed in. However, the official stated that the entry period for the exam building had ended and did not open the door.

Those nearby who witnessed the student's situation also intervened and pleaded for him to be let in. Despite this, the door was not opened.

STUDENT IN GREAT DISTRESS COLLAPSED TO THE GROUND

Realizing he could not enter the exam, the student collapsed to the ground after feeling unwell amid his distress.

Those nearby, saddened by the student's situation, reacted to his not being admitted to the exam due to a delay of only a few seconds.

What happened during the incident was recorded by the mobile phone cameras of people nearby.

EXAM STARTED AT 10:15, DOORS CLOSED AT 10:00

According to ÖSYM's exam implementation, DHBT started at 10:15. Candidates were required to enter exam buildings by 10:00 at the latest.

The student in Diyarbakır, however, allegedly missed this deadline by only 10 seconds and could not take the exam.
