During a sewage work in the Ceylanpınar district of Şanlıurfa, a landslide occurred, resulting in the entrapment of 4 workers under the rubble. Three of the workers lost their lives in the hospital. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
Four workers conducting sewer work in the Bahçelievler neighborhood of Ceylanpınar district in Şanlıurfa were trapped under rubble due to a landslide. A large number of fire, medical, police, gendarmerie, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the scene.
WORKERS RESCUED FROM UNDER THE RUBBLE
One worker trapped under the rubble was rescued immediately after the incident, while the other three workers were rescued with serious injuries as a result of the teams' efforts. The seriously injured workers, Engin Çekiç, Kadir Altınöz, and Halil Kartalmış, were taken to Ceylanpınar State Hospital after the initial intervention by medical teams.
3 WORKERS LOST THEIR LIVES
Seriously injured workers Engin Çekiç, Kadir Altınsöz, and Halil Kartalmış could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital and lost their lives. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
