After the flight cancellations at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, Turkish Airlines (THY) also announced that it has canceled some of its flights departing from and arriving at Istanbul Airport. In a statement made on social media regarding the issue, THY Press Advisor Yahya Üstün said, "Dear passengers, due to the severe storm expected in Istanbul, a 10% capacity restriction decision has been made by the Meteorological Emergency Committee (MADKOM), resulting in the cancellation of a total of 38 flights (10 domestic, 28 international) on November 23, departing from and arriving at Istanbul Airport."
