The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) graduated more than 100 beneficiaries of vocational training courses on Tuesday including in tailoring, fashion and design in Yumbe in the Northern Region of Uganda.

The initiative is a continuation of a project launched by Turkish first lady Emine Erdogan in 2016 at the Islamic University In Uganda (IUIU) to boost women's employment.

TIKA, together with the SENA Foundation, a Turkish humanitarian non-governmental organization, has been providing logistical assistance for the project since its inception.
