The popular social media application TikTok will be blocked for one year starting in 2025 due to allegations that it incites violence among young people in Albania.

TikTok has been banned in another country. Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that the popular social media application will be closed to access for one year starting in 2025. Rama stated that the decision was made because TikTok, which he described as 'the neighborhood delinquent,' incites violence among young people.
