As the Israel-Iran war causes oil prices to rise, Turkey is also experiencing consecutive increases in fuel prices. Starting from midnight tonight, a price hike of 1 lira and 56 kuruş is expected for gasoline, while diesel is set to increase by 1 lira and 87 kuruş. With these price increases reflected at the pump, the price of gasoline in Istanbul will be sold at 49 lira and 85 kuruş per liter, and diesel will be sold at 51 lira and 25 kuruş per liter.

The energy prices have been most affected by the Israel-Iran war. Israel's strikes on Iran's fields and concerns about Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz are economically challenging the entire world as the war progresses.
