Security preparations have been completed at the hotel where US President Donald Trump, who arrived in Ankara for the 36th NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government, will stay. A special bulletproof room providing ballistic protection has been prepared for Trump, while 56,000 security personnel are on duty across the capital. Security measures have been raised to the highest level at hotels where leaders will stay and along their travel routes.

As Ankara hosted the 36th NATO Heads of State and Government Summit, world leaders arrived one by one in the capital, while the security measures taken for US President Donald Trump drew attention.

Preparations were completed at the hotel where Trump, who came to Turkey upon the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and became the first US President to officially visit Turkey in 17 years, will stay.

BULLETPROOF SPECIAL ROOM PREPARED

According to the information obtained, a special room with ballistic protection and armored (bulletproof) features was prepared at the hotel where Trump will stay. It was learned that the preparation was carried out within the scope of international protection protocols to ensure the security of the US President.

WILL STAY AT AN INTERNATIONAL HOTEL WITH 413 ROOMS

According to the news from Dunya Newspaper, it was stated that Trump will stay at one of Ankara's leading international hotels. The hotel, consisting of a total of 23 floors and 413 rooms, has standard rooms of approximately 42 square meters, and the largest suites are 439 square meters in size.

"THE BEAST" ALSO WAITS READY AT THE HOTEL

Before Trump's arrival in Ankara, the armored presidential limousine nicknamed "The Beast" had left the hotel where he will stay and gone to Esenboga Airport, picking Trump up from Air Force One and bringing him to the hotel accompanied by extensive security measures.

Weighing approximately 9 tons, "The Beast" is shown among the world's safest official vehicles with its military-grade armor, bulletproof, and blast-resistant windows.

Suspicious vehicles are being searched one by one, and along the route extending from the airport to the city center, flags of the 32 NATO member countries and banners with the summit's slogans "Shared Future in Peace", "Key to Security", and "Key to Peace" have been placed.
