Tragic accident in Çorum: Police couple lost their lives, their children injured.

The car with license plate 55 AKY 625, driven by Kahraman Kudu (51), veered off the Ankara-Samsun highway near Çiftlik village and overturned after hitting a manhole cover on the side of the road. Upon receiving the report, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident. In the accident, the driver Kudu and his wife Filiz Kudu (46) lost their lives, while their children Elif Su (8) and Berin Su Kudu (6) were injured.

THE DECEASED HUSBAND AND WIFE WERE FOUND TO BE POLICE OFFICERS IN GİRESUN

The injured children were transported to Sungurlu State Hospital by ambulance after receiving initial medical treatment from the medical team. It was learned that Kahraman Kudu was a police officer at Giresun Provincial Police Department, and his wife Filiz Kudu was a police officer at Giresun Governorate. After the investigation by the crime scene investigation team, the bodies of the couple will be taken to the morgue of Sungurlu State Hospital.
