In Erzurum, Ömer Tutaş saved his sister Şeyma Tutaş's life by intervening when she fell ill during breakfast and her tongue got stuck in her throat. After his sister was taken to the hospital by ambulance, Ömer Tutaş suffered a heart attack and died at the hospital he was taken to. It was reported that Tutaş, who was known to have a heart condition, had made a hospital appointment for 3:00 PM that same day due to his friends' insistence.

In Erzurum, Ömer Tutaş, who intervened when his sister's tongue got stuck in her throat during breakfast and saved her from death, died of a heart attack minutes after sending her to the hospital by ambulance.

BREAKFAST TABLE ENDED IN SORROW

The incident occurred the previous morning in the Osman Bektaş neighborhood of Palandöken district. Sister Şeyma Tutaş suddenly stopped breathing while having breakfast at home. Her brother Ömer Tutaş noticed the situation and intervened. Tutaş removed the tongue stuck in his sister's throat and allowed her to breathe. Upon notification, health teams arrived and took Şeyma Tutaş to the hospital. After his sister was taken to the hospital, Ömer Tutaş went upstairs and fell ill. Health teams called by his family took him to Atatürk University Research Hospital, but despite all medical intervention, he could not be saved. It was reported that Ömer Tutaş died of a heart attack. Şeyma Tutaş, whose treatment continues in the intensive care unit of Erzurum City Hospital, is reported to remain in critical condition.

MUSICIAN FATHER COULDN'T HOLD BACK TEARS

A funeral prayer was held for Ömer Tutaş at the Hacı Osman Efendi Mosque in Palandöken district. Hüseyin Tutaş, a local artist from Erzurum who lost one child while another fights for life in intensive care, struggled to stand during the prayer. Hüseyin Tutaş, not left alone by his artist friends, wept as he hugged his son's coffin.

GOT APPOINTMENT AT FRIENDS' INSISTENCE

It was reported that Ömer Tutaş had a heart condition for some time and, at his friends' insistence, had made a hospital appointment for June 2 at 3:00 PM. Tarık Çelik, a friend of Ömer Tutaş, said, "During breakfast, his sister's tongue got stuck in her throat. Ömer intervened and saved his sister, then sent her to the hospital by ambulance. Later, he fell ill himself. Despite medical intervention, he could not be saved. As friends, we noticed he had health issues and had arranged an appointment for the same day at 3:00 PM. But he died before he could make it to his appointment."
