Troop Death İn N. Tunisia 'Not Terrorist Attack': Army

Tunisia's Defense Ministry said Friday that an attack in which a soldier was stabbed to death in the northern city of Bizerte was "not a terrorist attack."



"Preliminary investigations showed that one of the slain soldier's colleagues in the same unit killed him over a longstanding personal dispute," ministry spokesman Belhasan al-Waslati said in a statement.



Earlier in the day, eyewitnesses had said that a Tunisian soldier had been stabbed to death by a "militant" who later fled the scene.
