Ahead of possible negotiations between Iran and the US, Trump threatened once again. Trump stated, "We are offering a very fair and reasonable deal, and I hope they accept it because if they don't, the US will destroy every power plant and every bridge in Iran. There are no good guys anymore."
US President Donald Trump made threats against China through his social media account ahead of critical negotiations planned with Iran. Trump stated that they offered a "fair and reasonable" deal to the Tehran administration, and said that if this offer is rejected, the US military will target every power plant and bridge in Iran.
TRUMP: OUR NAVY HAS ALREADY BLOCKED THE STRAIT
Trump said: "Iran decided to fire in the Strait of Hormuz yesterday. A complete violation of the ceasefire agreement! Most of the bullets targeted a French and a British ship. Not nice, right? My representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan. They will be there tomorrow evening for negotiations. Iran recently announced that it would close the Strait, which is strange because our navy has already blocked the strait.
They are unknowingly helping us, and they are the ones losing $500 million a day due to the closure of the strait! The US is losing nothing. In fact, right now many ships are heading to the US, to Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska, thanks to the courtesy of the Revolutionary Guards, who always want to be the "tough guy"!
“THERE ARE NO GOOD GUYS LEFT”
We are offering a very fair and reasonable deal, and I hope they accept it because if they don’t, the US will obliterate every power plant and every bridge in Iran. There are no good guys left! They will be quickly and easily destroyed, and if they do not accept the deal, it will be an honor for me to do what should have been done to Iran by other presidents for the last 47 years. It is time to end the Iranian death machine."
TRUMP SIGNALS DIRECT MEETING
On the other hand, Trump stated that he is open to meeting face-to-face with Iranian leaders if the conditions are right, saying, "I have no problem meeting with them. If they want to meet... We have very talented people, but I can also meet."
NUCLEAR CONDITION
Trump stated that there is "one demand that will not change" at the core of the negotiations: "They should eliminate their nuclear weapons. It's very simple. There is no place for nuclear weapons." He noted that if Iran accepts this condition, the country has development potential, saying, "Otherwise, it could be a great country."
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE TABLE COLLAPSES?
Regarding what would happen if Iran does not accept this condition or if the negotiation table collapses, Trump avoided giving details, saying, "You can guess that nice things won't happen."
In response to a question about who the US is dealing with on the Iranian side, Trump replied, "We have a pretty good idea, and we think we are talking to the right people."
