Trump mocked the Canadian Prime Minister once again.

18.12.2024 01:50

In the coming days, Donald Trump, who will take the presidential seat, referred to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as 'Governor' once again.

Donald Trump stated in a post on his social media account, Truth Social, "The Great Canadian Province was stunned as the finance minister resigned or Governor Justin Trudeau was fired."

REFERRED TO CANADA AS 'PROVINCE', TRUDEAU AS 'GOVERNOR'

Trump, mocking Trudeau by referring to him as "governor," noted that the actions of Chrystia Freeland, who served as Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Canada but resigned yesterday, were "harmful." Trump also reiterated the term "great province" that he used for Canada.

When Donald Trump took office, he announced that he would impose a 25% tariff on all products coming from Mexico and Canada, and an additional 10% tariff on products from China. Trudeau had stated that increasing the tax by 25% would negatively impact the Canadian economy.

"DINING WITH CANADA'S GOVERNOR JUSTIN WAS A GREAT PLEASURE"

In a post on Truth Social on December 10, Trump stated, "Dining with the Governor of the Great Canadian Province, Justin Trudeau, last night was a great pleasure," mocking Trudeau. Freeland announced her resignation from the cabinet on December 16, stating that she no longer agreed with Trudeau on "the best path for the country."
