US President Donald Trump shared on his social media account the cover image of the world-famous Newsweek magazine, which depicts him as a giant oil explorer.

In the illustration featured in Trump's post, under the Newsweek logo, the words "TRUMP WAS RIGHT (ABOUT VENEZUELA)" appeared in capital letters.

VICTORY POSE WITH AN OIL PUMP

In the cover illustration, which quickly sparked widespread reactions on social media, Trump was depicted as a giant figure in the middle of an oil field. Trump, wearing a safari-style outfit with a smiling face and arms spread wide in a victory pose, was seen holding a fuel pump from which crude oil dripped.

The other end of the hose being connected to oil pumps and rich reserves on land symbolized Trump's assertive message regarding global energy balances through his Venezuela policy.

"CRITICS WERE WRONG"

In the caption of the image, it was emphasized that Trump's moves and predictions regarding Venezuela had proven right over time, while critics who drew chaos and disaster scenarios by claiming otherwise were wrong. The image included the text: "Six months later — and after a natural disaster no one planned for — the skeptics who predicted chaos were wrong."

The post, which received hundreds of thousands of interactions in a short time, was considered one of the most tangible visual messages Trump presented to his voters through his foreign policy and energy strategies.
