26.11.2014 14:59

Case study tells how the company adapted to rapidly changing conditions.

The history of Turkey's largest mobile phone operator, Turkcell, will be taught in a course at Harvard Business School, the company announced on Wednesday.

Turkcell's story, its ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions, will make an inspiring case study for discussion at the graduate business school of Harvard University.

The case study, prepared by business school professor Felix Oberholzer-Gee and assistant professor Charles C.Y. Wang, will show how Turkcell, consistently adapted to everything from changes in prices to the shift to value added services.

This story has much to say to our students and trainees, Oberholzer-Gee said.

Turkcell's CEO Sureyya Ciliv commented that Turkcell is the only Turkish company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The company is proud of seeing Turkcell's story as an inspiring case study at Harvard Business School, she added.
