Turkey's Borsa Istanbul Down At Close

Turkey's benchmark stock index down by 0.99% to 115.748,47 points at the closing session of Friday.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index started the day at 117,315.61 points. It diminished 1,159.30 points from Thursday's close of 116,907.77 points.

During the day, the index's lowest level was 116,592.08, points, while the highest was 117,391.24 points.

The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 851 billion Turkish liras ($124 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 20.9 billion Turkish liras ($3 billion).

On the last transaction day of the week, 38 stocks on the index rose,15 were down, and the remaining flat compared to Thursday.
