ASELSAN, TUSAŞ, ARCA Defense, ROKETSAN, and MKE from Turkey entered the Defense News Top 100 list, which ranks the world's largest defense companies. In the list, where ASELSAN rose to the 40th position, ARCA Defense appeared for the first time, while the total defense revenue of the 5 Turkish companies reached $14.9 billion.
Five Turkish companies have been included in the Defense News Top 100 list, which ranks the world's leading defense industry companies.
According to the list, which is created each year based on the previous year's defense sales, ASELSAN maintained its position as the highest-ranked Turkish company, rising from 43rd to 40th place in the global rankings.
The most notable development among Turkish companies this year was ARCA Defense entering the list for the first time. ARCA made a strong entry into the list from 53rd place.
ROKETSAN also made a significant leap, rising from 71st to 64th place.
Due to the impact of companies entering the list at higher positions, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS) represented the Turkish defense industry in 48th place instead of 47th, and MKE in 81st place instead of 80th.
ASELSAN STEPS INTO THE TOP 40
ASELSAN rose to 40th place on the list, continuing to be the leading Turkish defense industry company on a global scale. ASELSAN's defense revenues increased by approximately 26 percent, from $3.5417 billion in 2024 to $4.4639 billion in 2025.
TUSAS's 2025 defense revenue was calculated at $3.6464 billion. This figure indicated an increase of approximately 16 percent compared to $3.151 billion in 2024.
ARCA's defense revenue was shown as $3.004 billion. ARCA's 2024 defense revenue was at the level of $653.2 million. Thus, the company's defense revenue increased 4.6 times in one year.
ROKETSAN's 2025 defense revenue was calculated at $2.3688 billion. The company's defense revenue was at the level of $2.0046 billion in 2024. Thus, an increase of approximately 18 percent was achieved in defense revenue.
MKE's 2025 defense revenue was recorded at $1.4214 billion. Its defense revenue, which was $1.2093 billion in 2024, increased by approximately 18 percent.
The total defense revenue of the 5 Turkish companies included in the 2026 Defense News Top 100 list amounted to $14.9 billion.
REVENUES OF TOP COMPANIES ALSO INCREASED
The Defense News list also revealed growth in the global defense market.
Lockheed Martin maintained its position at the top of the list. The company's 2025 defense revenue was calculated at $72.1 billion. RTX ranked second with $46 billion, General Dynamics third with $39.4 billion, Northrop Grumman fourth with $37 billion, and BAE Systems fifth with $36 billion. All of these companies increased their revenues.
