Turkey sent an investigation team for the plane that crashed in Kazakhstan.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that an 8-member investigation team has been assigned to investigate the causes of the crash of the passenger plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines, which was involved in an accident in the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan, to conduct technical and operational analyses, and to provide necessary support.

"ASSIGNED AT AZERBAIJAN'S REQUEST"

Minister Uraloğlu stated in a post on his social media account, "We have assigned an 8-member investigation team to investigate the causes of the accident, conduct technical and operational analyses, and provide necessary support at the request of the Azerbaijan State Civil Aviation Agency following the accident of the passenger plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines AZAL in the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan."

THE TEAM IS HEADING TO BAKU

Minister Uraloğlu also stated, "Our team will depart for Baku this evening and will work in coordination with Azerbaijani authorities to examine all aspects of the incident in accordance with their areas of expertise starting tomorrow. We emphasize that Turkey stands by Azerbaijan under all circumstances, and we extend our condolences to those who lost their lives and once again wish our Azerbaijani brothers a speedy recovery."
