ISTANBUL (AA) – A Turkish wrestler won a gold medal at the Junior World Wrestling Championship in Trnava, Slovakia on Sunday.
Arif Ozen won against India's Deepak Punia 2-1 in the 86 kg freestyle category.
Meanwhile Erhan Yaylaci won a bronze medal by defeating Russia's Khok Khuhov 7-3 in the 96 kg category third-place match.
So far Turkish wrestlers have won five medals at the junior championships.
While Ozen and Kerem Kamal won gold medals, Yaylaci, Erkan Ergen and Muhittin Saricicek scored bronzes. -
