Turkey's foreign minister will travel to Paris on Tuesday for the launch of a new partnership against chemical weapons, the Foreign Ministry said on Monday.
Mevlut Cavusoglu is to take part in a meeting launching the International Partnership against Impunity for the Use of Chemical Weapons to be hosted by French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, said a ministry statement.
Cavusoglu is also expected to hold bilateral talks on the issue, the statement added.
More than 29 countries will attend the Paris conference in order to "endorse a series of commitments aimed at strengthening their cooperation in the fight against impunity for those who use or develop chemical weapons," according to a French Foreign Ministry statement. -
