Benchmark BIST 100 index drops around 55 points by Friday's close.
The Turkish benchmark stock index closed the week at 8,828.70 points, up 0.62% from the previous close.
The BIST 100 index, which started the day at 8,901.86 points, lost 54.82 points from Thursday's close.
The lowest value of the index for the day was 8,795.90, while its daily high was 8,908.01.
Forty-one indices rose in value by the end of the day, while 58 declined.
The total transaction volume reached 77 billion Turkish liras ($2.38 billion), while the overall value of the index was 7.5 trillion liras ($234.5 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 32.1920 as of 7.15 p.m. (1615GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 35.1080, while the GBP/TRY traded at 41.0010.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,162.05, while the barrel price of Brent oil was around $85.75. -
