Turkiye's benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul closed at 2,419.23 points on Friday with daily gains of 1.18%.
Starting the day at 2,416.04 points, the index rose 28.25 points from Thursday's close of 2,390.98.
One ounce of gold traded for $1,832 by market close, down from $1,840.30 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was up 3.1% to $110.82 per barrel as of 6.18 p.m. local time (1518GMT).
