Türkiye's benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul fell 1.44% to end Tuesday at 2,371.25 points.
After starting the day at 2,417.84 points, BIST 100 index lost 34.73 points from the previous close of 2,405.98 points.
The index's lowest value during the day was 2,359.09 points, while its daily high was 2,426.48 points with 17 stocks on the index rose, 81 fell, and two were unchanged compared to the previous close.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 1.9 trillion Turkish liras ($111.8 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 29.7 billion Turkish liras ($1.8 billion).
Shares of agricultural chemicals producer Hektas performed the best with a 6.04% increase, while conglomerate Bera Holding saw the biggest drop, 6.96%.
One ounce of gold traded for $1,811.45 by market close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
Brent crude oil sold at around $105 per barrel as of 6.00 p.m. local time (1500GMT).
