Turkey's benchmark stock index ended the week up 0.15% to close at 105,520.47 points.
Starting the day at 105,182.88 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 160.71 points from 105,359.76 points at Thursday's close.
On the last trading day of the week, the BIST 100 hovered between 104,670.95 points and 105,669.21 points – 25 stocks on the index rose, 28 fell, and the remaining were flat compared to the previous close.
Closing the day with a market value of nearly 755 billion Turkish liras ($111 billion), the benchmark index posted a daily trading volume of 14.4 billion Turkish liras ($2.1 billion).
The highest trading volumes were posted by national flag carrier Turkish Airlines, private lenders Garanti and Yapi Kredi Bank.
Real estate investment company Halk was the best performer, with its shares up 9.58%, while the shares of major appliances firm Arcelik dropped the most, losing 5.11%.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,733.15 by market close, up from $1,725.00 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent oil was $35.69 per barrel as of 6 p.m. local time (1500GMT) on Friday.
