Türkiye's central government budget balance saw a deficit of 64 billion Turkish liras ($3.7 billion) in July, the Treasury and Finance Ministry announced on Monday.
The deficit figure had been 31.6 billion Turkish liras ($1.8 billion) in June, the data showed.
Türkiye's budget revenues came at 197 billion liras ($11.3 billion) while expenditures amounted to 261 billion liras ($15 billion) last month.
Non-interest expenditures were 244.3 billion liras ($14 billion) and interest payments were 16.7 billion liras ($956.7 million) in July.
One US dollar traded for 17.4497 Turkish liras on average last month. -
