Two children wreaked havoc in the shopping mall and then ran away, swinging their arms.

Two 15-year-old children who came to Hilltown Shopping Center in the Karşıyaka district of İzmir had an argument with a security guard and stabbed him in the leg. The moments when the children, who quickly fled the scene, were seen walking around with their hands and arms swinging were captured by security cameras.

The incident occurred yesterday at 5:30 PM at the entrance of Hilltown Shopping Center located in the Karşıyaka district. According to the information obtained, when they arrived at the shopping center, the children named T.Ö. (15) and U.F. (15), who were constantly causing disturbances, wanted to enter the mall again. Upon the children's attempt to enter the mall, security guard Muhammet S. (34) wanted to escort them out. A dispute broke out between the children and the security guard, during which security guard Muhammet S. was stabbed in the leg. As the children who carried out the attack fled the mall running, the security guard collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood. Muhammet S. was taken to Çiğli Training and Research Hospital by the medical teams who arrived at the scene after the situation was reported. It was learned that the condition of the assaulted security guard was good.

THEY WERE CAUGHT IN A SHORT TIME

After the incident, the two fleeing children were recorded by a citizen using a mobile phone camera. Among the children identified from the security camera footage, T.Ö. was caught by the Çiğli District Police Department officials around 7:00 PM, while U.F. was apprehended by the Karşıyaka Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau teams around 10:00 PM. The children were taken to the Bostanlı Police Station for questioning.
