SHE RECORDED A VIDEO DURING THE HEARING
The 9th hearing of the disaster that occurred at the mine in the İliç district of Erzincan and in which 9 workers lost their lives began. During the recess given in the hearing, Duygu Yıldız, sister of mine worker Uğur Yıldız who lost his life in the disaster, recorded a video and shared it on her social media account.
NO ONE IS IN DETENTION
Stating that it was announced at the hearing that the 2 people in detention had also been released, Yıldız said:
"Two people were detained, and they have been released as well. No one who caused the massacre is in detention. Everyone is outside, continuing their lives. If I insulted the President today, they would take me into custody the same day. While justice works so fast, those who caused the deaths of 9 miners here continue their lives as if nothing had happened. They ignore the 9 miners, the laborers, the soil, the water. They ignore it, our state ignores it, and the court ignores it. It has once again been proven that we have no value or worth at all. We are seeking justice, and the ones we will address are not the Ministry of Justice or state officials. We are addressing society. If society does not hear this, if society does not object to this, we will all turn a blind eye to dying, being killed, and our relatives dying."
