Due to the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ, the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality canceled the October 29 events, but has now reversed this decision. It was stated that singers Ebru Gündeş and Mert Demir will perform concerts for the people of Ankara on Republic Day.

Following the attack, the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality announced that the events scheduled in the city for the Republic Day on October 29 were canceled.
